The Chevy Silverado 1500 makes four engines available across its nine trims. The base engine is a 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Additional power can be had by stepping to a higher trim. Optional engines include a 5.3-liter V8, a 6.2-liter V8, and a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine. For those interested in off-road performance, we'd recommend checking out the ZR2 and Trail Boss trims.
Technology
Tech ranges greatly, with the base WT trim coming with a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 2-speaker audio system. Notable available tech features include a 13.4-inch touchscreen display, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster display, a Bose premium audio system, a navigation system, and a wireless charging pad.
